I enjoy being surprised at a photo opportunity. Here, the neighbor was unsure of how to move the barrel that he was growing the cactus in, as we were re-landscaping. I had no ideas for him, but the plant, which I had never seen before, was in full bloom.
Leaves not yet fallen.
This tree picture moved a little down the abstract end of the scale, but I couldn’t resist the colours.

Not sure if he was old, but I had to pick this one up of the sidewalk and put him onto the flower. What crazy eye colour!
The thistle offered a wonderful contrast. How kind of him to pose there for me!
