I enjoy being surprised at a photo opportunity. Here, the neighbor was unsure of how to move the barrel that he was growing the cactus in, as we were re-landscaping. I had no ideas for him, but the plant, which I had never seen before, was in full bloom.

In springtime in Ontario, Tulips are everywhere. Maybe 3 weeks blooming is all you get, then gone again until the next April. The different varieties just go on and on and on.

Not sure if he was old, but I had to pick this one up of the sidewalk and put him onto the flower. What crazy eye colour!
